As I pack my bags after a long tour away from home, I anxiously look out of the hotel window to see if the cab has arrived, and hope the flight is not delayed or cancelled at the last minute. Coming home is always an enjoyable experience for all of us. Home is the place where we all belong. All our memories are attached with each nook and corner of our home.
Our family is what makes a house our home. We all live together in our home with common dreams and aspirations. Many of us have pets of all kinds, like dogs or cats, and even horses. In case our home is on a farm, we may even have farm animals like cows, or sheep. Many of these animals also consider our home as their home. They can even find their way back on their own in case they have wandered off.
Our neighbors are an important aspect of our home. It is necessary to have good and friendly relations with our neighbors. In times of need we can request our neighbors to help. We must also try to help all our neighbors. Our neighbors form part of our community, and we must understand that our community can safely exist only if we have good relations among all within the community and outside. We all like to keep our home neat and tidy, and free from disease and infections. Proper ventilation, regular cleaning and proper hygiene are important daily aspects that must always be ensured.
We can only prosper and grow if we are in good health, and our home must be able to nurture all our family members. Our home protects us from the environment, from the heat and cold, from the winds, and from all undesirable elements of the world outside. We must ensure that our home is properly maintained with regular repairs and maintenance, and replacing old and obsolete items with new ones. In addition, our home address is also an important piece of information that forms part of all vital documents.
